Our story

This company exists because of one number, and it is not ours. It comes from Colorado State University, and it is repeated by Cornell's veterinary school and by the Companion Animal Parasite Council.

Only 1 to 5% of a flea problem is on the animal

Adults are the only stage that lives on a host. Everything else, the eggs, the larvae and the pupae, is in the room. A single female lays around 40 eggs a day in your pet's coat, and those eggs roll off into the carpet within hours. They hatch. The larvae move away from light, down into the pile, where hoovering the surface misses them. Then they spin a cocoon.

The pupa is the part nobody tells you about. Cornell's own wording is that a pupa cannot be killed with insecticides, freezing or drying, and it can wait for months. What wakes it is vibration: you walking past. It emerges, jumps to the nearest warm body, and the whole thing starts again.

Which is why the third time happens

Everyone who buys from us has the same story. You treat the animal. You wash every blanket at 60 degrees. You lose a Saturday to the hoover and the skirting boards. Two good weeks follow, and you let yourself believe it is finished. Then the scratching starts again at three in the morning.

You did not miss a spot and you did not do it wrong. You treated the 5% you can see and left the other 95% in the carpet.

What was missing

Look at what is for sale and almost all of it is aimed at the animal. That is not a conspiracy, it is just where the industry grew up. But it leaves an obvious hole: nothing that works on the room, continuously, without you having to remember it.

So that is what we sell. A plug-in unit per room, running day and night, with nothing to refill, nothing to apply and nothing that goes near your dog or cat. Whether you have a dog, a cat or both makes no difference to it, because it is not treating them.

What we will not do

• We do not write reviews. Every review on this site is meant to come from a real buyer, with where it came from printed on the card. Anything we have not collected yet is marked as such rather than filled in with something invented.
• We do not run fake urgency. No countdown timers, no "3 left in stock", no "27 people are viewing this".
• We do not claim to cure or treat anything. Fleas are a household pest problem and we talk about the household.
• We do not sell through marketplaces, so there is one version of this product, one price, and one company to come back to if it does not work.

Where we are now

One product, sold direct, dispatched from the UK, with 30 days to change your mind. If it does not do what this website says it does, send it back and we refund you. That is the whole arrangement.
